Privacy Policy

We are very delighted that you have shown interest in our enterprise. The security of your personal data is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, we would like to inform you in detail about the personal data processed by this website, as well as all other technologies and procedures used. We process your data exclusively in accordance with the pertinent legal provisions (GDPR TKG 2003) as amended.

Personal data

Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

If there are legal grounds for processing, data such as names, contact details, features, payment processing data, etc. can be recorded and stored as part of our performance.

Purpose of the processing

Essentially, personal data will only be processed by EAS if you also make it available to the company.

However, a distinction should be made as to whether you only visit this website to find out about the products of the company or to purchase goods and services.

In general, you can use this website without providing personal data. Personal data, such as names, addresses or e-mail addresses, are always provided on a voluntary basis, whenever possible. Please note that data transmitted via the internet (e.g., via email communication) may be subject to security breaches. Complete protection of your data from third-party access is not possible.

Should you send us questions via the contact form, we will collect the data entered on the form, including the contact details you provide, to answer your question and any follow-up questions. This data will not be shared without your prior consent.

When you purchase a service, all personal data collected directly in the course of the transaction will be recorded, saved and, if necessary, also forwarded to third parties. This mainly concerns data obtained from enquiries, orders, contracts or e-mail correspondence. The data provided by you is required to fulfil the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. We cannot conclude a contract with you if this data in missing.

Legal grounds

The processing of personal data takes place on the basis of legal and any contractual obligations, the consent of the parties concerned and the legitimate interests of the controller.

Credit check

In order to safeguard our legitimate interests and depending on the respective level of the risk to be prevented prior to the delivery of goods or the provision of services, credit information can be obtained from the Creditor Protection Association of 1870 (Kreditschutzverband von 1870), Wagenseilgasse 7, 1120 Vienna or similar organisations of the EU member states for the new as well as existing customers.

To this end, personal data will be sent to the creditor protection association within the scope required for identification in order to conduct a credit check.

A credit check usually provides data relating to payment behaviour, financial situation, debt collection data, one-off maximum loan as well as various other parameters, which are ultimately included in the decision to establish a contractual relationship.

Recipient

A transfer of personal data takes place only insofar as this is necessary for the processing of the underlying business and the contractual obligations, or you have previously expressly consented to the forwarding of your data. The recipients may be affiliated companies or other third parties involved in the transaction (e.g., transport companies, banks).

We attach particular importance to the fact that each commissioned data processor has previously signed a contract with regard to processing and data security.

No personal data is marketed or sold.

Data storage

Data is stored on the EAS servers within the European Union for as long as required by law, however, until the end of any legal dispute and ongoing warranty and guarantee periods.

In order to ensure anonymous processing, the controller does not send any further personal data to the provider.

We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider regarding commissioned data processing. It stipulates that the contracted service is provided exclusively in a member state of the European Union or in a state which is party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area and any relocation of the service or the related partial work in a third country requires the prior consent of the controller and may only take place if the specific conditions of Article 44 et seq. of the EU GDPR are fulfilled (e.g., adequacy decision of the commission, standard data protection clauses, approved code of conduct).

Data processing takes place on the basis of the statutory provisions of Section 96 (3) TKG (Telecommunications Act) as well as Art. 6 (1) (a) (Consent) and (f) (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.

Our objective in terms of GDPR is to improve our offers and our website.

Data security

By implementing suitable, state-of-the-art, technical and organisational measures, we ensure that only the personal data required for the respective processing purpose is processed. In doing so, we protect your data from loss, modification, destruction and access by unauthorised persons.

Your rights

You are entitled to your right to disclosure, rectification, deletion, limitation, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you feel that your data has been processed in an unlawful manner or your right to data protection has been violated in any way, you can file a complaint with the regulating authorities. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.
